Priority Review Date: Job Summary: Working with the Producer, Director, ASM, Cast, and crew through out the rehearsal and production processes and back stage during performances to ensure a smooth production.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: - Working with the ASM on all paperwork and checklists and creating and maintaing a show book for productions.
- Working with the Producer, Director, and ASM during rehearsals to ensure a smooth rehearsal and production process.
- Working with the Producer, Director, ASM, Cast, and Crew back stage during all technical and dress rehearsals, and performances to ensure a smooth production.
- Calling all cues during all technical and dress rehearsals, and performances.- Other duties as assigned
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued: Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of higher education in Stage Management or at least two years practical experience.
- At least 21 years of age
Preferred Qualifications: - At least three years of higher education in Stage Management or at least four years practical experience.- Basic knowledge and understanding of theatrical lighting, sound, and fly rail equipment and control systems.- Some kind of first aide training.- Some kind of music training.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Able to lift/move a minimum of 50lb.- Knowledge and understanding of word processing and spreadsheet programs.- Organizational and time management skills- Strong interpersonal communication skills- Trouble shooting and problem solving skills- Ability to work well with all types of personalities.- Able to take charge in challenging situations.- Knowledge and understanding of using various online communication and file sharing systems.- Able to follow directions well- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties: - Other duties as assigned
Special Instructions: This position will be based solely on a per project and as needed basis.Must have Adequate transportation to and from work.Must be Able to work late hours and weekends.Resume required.
