General Overall Job Summary :
Responsible for estimating costs, methods, labor and materials for various types of construction and mitigation repair projects.
Estimates are based on gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, related documents field reports and site visits.
In addition, estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to be able to compute the overall cost of the project and meet insurance protocol.

EXPECTATIONS AND DELIVERABLES:
* Determined the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction and repair projects.
* Researched construction documents and analyzed specifications.
* Prepared estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work.
* Managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
* Ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
* Regularly reporting to Management and keeping clients updated on the project status.
* Formulating contingency plans and effectively managing risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
* Keeping track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques and cost standards.
* Collaborating with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.
* Met with customers and adjuster in an efficient manor to achieve desired result
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
* Ability to sell jobs and identify additional sales opportunities from existing leads/jobs
* Continuous review of past estimates for success and profitability of jobs
* Estimate remotely using photos and live technologies and provide training to others to support this method
* Follow up with customers, project and construction managers to ensure successful and timely completion of jobs
* Manage regional program estimates, jobs and repairs in a timely manor and address changes and/or corrections
* Effective time management while supporting multiple company locations
Minimum Qualification Standards:
* Extensive experience as an Estimator in the construction field.
* Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
* Brilliant management and negotiation skills.
* Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
* Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.
* Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
* Advanced computer skills and demonstrable competency with software such as Xactimate, Encircle and related estimating and project management software.
* Ability to travel extensively and perform site visits.
* Xactimate proficiency
* Certifications a plus (IICRC, AMRT, ASD, CCT, OCT, WRT)
