The Project Construction Manager will be responsible for managing consultants and project managers to ensure the safe and successful delivery of construction and installation projects. This role requires a strong focus on overseeing the delivery approach, management practices, and final deliverables, with a particular emphasis on mechanical completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and GMP standards.
• Collaborate with consultants and project managers to develop and implement effective project plans and timelines.
• Oversee the delivery approach of contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to address issues and ensure project alignment.
• Review and approve construction documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure mechanical completion of projects, verifying that all systems and installations meet operational requirements.
• Implement best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Mentor and develop junior project staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in pharmaceutical or GMP environments.
• Proven experience managing consultants and contractors in a project setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
