We are seeking a Private Banking Officer for a direct hire employee role with our client in midtown, New York City. Compensation depends upon experience level. 5+ years experience in retail private banking is required.
Responsible for Managing the Private Banking Area, providing a high level of customer service to Private Banking clients.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of Private Banking high net-worth clients.
• Provide account management activities including payments, check and cash transactions, and time deposits.
• Support the needs of retail customers in the US; including requests for a new card, PIN deliveries, wire transfers, and updating their account information.
• Liaise with Treasury, Operation, IT, Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth day to day activities and enhance customer experience.
• Perform KYC and periodic reviews and ensure adherence to all risk guidelines and compliance with all BSA and AML regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for all internal and external reporting related to Private Banking.
• Responsible for vault cash and weekly cash count.
• Assist in the underwriting and credit approval process for residential loans for clients, and ensure all bank’s credit policies and procedures are met and maintained.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A college degree, preferably in finance.
• Graduate degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years Private Banking experience.
• Arabic speaking is a plus.
