We are excited to offer a unique and dynamic opportunity for a Reception and Billing Specialist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional primary care to our patients. This part-time role combines both billing and reception responsibilities, allowing you to engage with our clinical and administrative staff at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: Be the friendly voice answering all incoming calls related to scheduling, billing inquiries, and medication refills, ensuring a welcoming and helpful experience for our patients.
Follow-Up Calls: Conduct organized and timely follow-up calls with patients regarding scheduling, medication refills, and any necessary paperwork, as directed by our clinical team.
Chart Navigation: Comfortably navigate patient charts to verify medication refill dates, appointment details, and demographic information to assist in providing accurate support.
Collaboration: Work closely with both the clinical and administrative teams to address billing-related matters, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
Daily Billing: Accurately complete billing for all patient visits on a daily basis, ensuring prompt and efficient processing.
Reporting: Generate and provide regular reports related to billing operations using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Documentation Support: Assist in exporting necessary documentation to other healthcare providers involved in patient care, such as dermatologists and gastrointestinal specialists.
Administrative Tasks: Perform essential tasks like printing, copying, scanning, and mailing items as needed and directed by the clinical and administrative teams.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in medical billing is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for patient interaction.
Comfortable working with technology, including EMR systems, Excel, and Google Docs.
Work Environment:

This position is currently remote, utilizing a telehealth platform. As the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the role may transition to an in-person setting as determined by the practice owners.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 16.00 Per Hour
